Why did you want to become a dentist?

I’ve always been captivated by the notion of being the architect of smiles. For me, dentistry transcends mere tooth restoration; it’s about sculpting confidence, restoring joy, and rebuilding self-esteem, one smile at a time. Like a sculptor molding clay or marble, I work with enamel and dentin, crafting each patient’s smile into a unique masterpiece waiting to be unveiled. As a dentist, I have the privilege of being the artist who brings these smiles to light.
With expertise in oral surgery, cosmetic and therapeutic injectables, as well as orofacial pain diagnosis and treatment, I am driven by a desire to forge genuine connections with my patients and partake in the shared happiness that follows. Dentistry is not just a profession to me; it’s an avenue to cultivate joy, one smile at a time.

Where did you study dentistry?

I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry followed by a general practice residency at the NewYork Presbyterian Hospital, further refining my skills and knowledge in various dental procedures and patient care. I am also pursuing a master’s degree to specialize in orofacial pain at the University of Southern California, delving deeper into diagnosing and treating complex orofacial pain conditions.
The importance of continuing education is paramount in my professional philosophy. I am dedicated to staying abreast of the latest advancements, holding certifications and fellowships with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Outside of the dental office, what do you like to do?

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Outside of the dental office, I enjoy exploring the world through traveling and immersing myself in new cultures, cuisines, and experiences. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I relish discovering local culinary delights and experimenting with new flavors wherever I go.
I am also an avid animal lover with an adventurous heart. Serving as the medical dental consultant on the Animal Health Council at the Lincoln Park Zoo allows me to apply my passion and expertise to bring dental health to adorable creatures like gorillas, lions, and polar bears.
